1. Overview
This Warranty & Faulty Goods Policy explains your rights and H&K Styles’ obligations in relation to product defects, faults, and manufacturing issues.
All products sold by H&K Styles are covered by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which provides automatic consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded.
2. Your Rights Under the Australian Consumer Law
2.1 Under the ACL (Schedule 2, Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)), all consumers are entitled to the following guarantees:

4. Making a Warranty Claim
4.1 To make a warranty or faulty goods claim, please contact our Customer Care team at info.styles@handkstyles.com with:

6.3 If a replacement is not available (for example, a limited-edition item), store credit or a full refund may be offered.
7. Return of Faulty Items
7.1 Customers must securely package faulty items to avoid damage in transit.
7.2 For approved warranty returns, H&K Styles will provide a prepaid shipping label or refund reasonable postage costs.
7.3 Returned items must be sent within 7 days of approval of the claim.
8. Record-Keeping & Legal Retention
8.1 Under Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) s286, we must retain warranty and transaction records for 7 years.
8.2 All warranty claims, and correspondence are stored securely and handled in compliance with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
8.3 Customers are encouraged to retain proof of purchase and warranty documentation for their records.
9. International Customers
9.1 For customers outside Australia (e.g. NZ, UK, USA), warranty claims follow the same process and assessment criteria.
9.2 The customer is responsible for initial return postage; if the fault is confirmed, H&K Styles will reimburse reasonable shipping costs.
9.3 Cross-border delivery times for repairs or replacements may vary based on customs and carrier processing.
10. Limitations of Liability
10.1 Nothing in this Policy excludes your statutory rights under the ACL.
